Our L5 AT WORK structure and content is currently being updated and refreshed through October and November 2011. If you experience any difficulties please contact Jo Mason

The L5 at work leadership learning online modules were written to support school leaders across schools, education systems and sectors with:

  1. Their own professional learning >>>

  2. Facilitating leadership learning with teams and individuals in their schools and networks >>>

  3. For accreditation towards a Masters degree

The learning

The modules are grounded in practice and based on theory. They include activities that situate the learning firmly in the context of a particular school. Anyone could read through the content of a module in a few hours and say at the end that they had learnt little. Learning occurs in application of the content; it is therefore vital that the learner undertakes the associated activities.}1

The structure of the Modules

Each Module is structured, within the five propositions of the L5 Frame, with the Module 'assertions'. These Assertions are the learning outcomes for each Module. They are also the Module 'chapter headings'. The Assertions are colourcoded according to the L5 propositions.

Each Module includes downloadable Activities which are essential to the learning. These individual Activities have also been compiled ino a downloadable Workbook.}1

Where to start

The Modules have been designed to have a natural flow, but also to stand-alone.

The free Modules are designed to give you an introduction and to show you the possibilities of using the L5 framework to address specific issues and priorities in your school.

We recommend that you begin with the introductory Module Learn:Lead:Succeed
