
Preparation The modules are intended to be used both as a just-in-time resource and a more structured program.As a just-in-time resource we suggest you:
- Purchase all the Modules you need for 12 months access.
- Bookmark the site
- Keep a shortcut on your desktop for easy access. You will be prompted to enter your username and password each time.
Suggested ways of working with the Modules
- Allocate time in your schedule when you will work on the Module.
- Download the workbook onto your desktop so that it is easily available to complete as a word document as you work through the module
- Work through the Module as it is presented or choose the assertions which you think are most useful to you and move randomly through the module depending on your learning style. The assertions stand alone as well as part of a coherent group.
- Engage in the activities and associated learning. Reflect on what each assertion means for you. You may wish to record your thoughts in a portfolio associated with the workbook.
- Refer to the Reference list (Available in the menu for each module) associated with the module for deeper learning on a particular assertion
- Join the PALnet leadership group to see if anyone else is working on the Module you choose.

Use your learning in discussions with colleagues or members of staff.
Refer to your workbook, portfolio or the module when you need to present on the topic of the module within your school or workplace.
